A dispute can change the direction of a business. Your next step matters.

What happens next
Three steps from inquiry to a plan
- Review. Tina reads the inquiry and checks for conflicts of interest with the other parties named.
- Conversation. If she can help, you will hear back to arrange a call or a meeting at the downtown Dallas office. You will be told what to bring and what not to send yet.
- Assessment. You leave the first conversation knowing where you stand: the options, the likely cost drivers, the timing, and what Tina recommends. The decision is yours.

Preparing for Your First Meeting With a Litigator
Bring the contract, the key communications, a one-page timeline and the money picture. Stop deleting anything. The meeting is confidential whether or not you hire the lawyer.

What Evidence Should I Save Before Suing?
Save the agreement and every version of it, every message about it, proof of what each side did, and proof of what it cost you. Keep metadata, and keep what hurts you too.

Questions to Ask Before Hiring Commercial Litigation Counsel
Ask who will do the work, what they have done in disputes like yours, how fees are set and estimated, how the case would unfold and what could go wrong.
